When writing outside of one's lane, writers are often worried about accidentally causing backlash. While we cover how to avoid backlash elsewhere in this series, this particular session focuses on where these frustrations originate in readers, how to navigate backlash if it happens to you, and how to move forward. We'll also look at backlash examples, including one entity whose response to backlash made them beloved.
